Quality Assurance

UMF® Manuka Honey is undeniably New Zealand's most special honey. UMF® levels vary based on the concentration of the honey's UMF® with levels between 5+ to 15+ more common and while levels higher than 15+ are harder to find, levels as high as 25+ have been reported on rare occasions.

In order to provide total assurance to our customers on product quality and efficacy, each batch of ManukaVille UMF® Manuka Honey is tested and certified by an independent laboratory approved by the UMF® Honey Association (UMFHA) so that you can rest assured what you are purchasing will provide the UMF level as indicated on the label.

ManukaVille UMF® Manuka Honey is produced in one of the most modern honey production facilities in New Zealand, which adheres to a strict Risk Management Program on HACCP food safety principles. This is administered by a government body – the New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) which conducts an annual audit and three quarterly reviews to ensure compliance to pre-set standards.

The UMF® Honey Association (UMFHA) also conducts annual audits to ensure that appropriate records are maintained and that the products are 100% traceable right up to the source where the raw honey is obtained.

The stringent quality control procedures and good manufacturing practices put in place will help to ensure our customers get the best quality honey they can find in the market.
